Your fully guided grizzly bear viewing adventure will begin in Campbell River, Vancouver Island where you will board one of our covered high speed water taxi vessels en route to the majestic sixty kilometer long fjord of British Columbia's Bute Inlet and the home of many resident grizzly bears.

Cruise in comfort, viewing the spectacular scenery of the Discovery Islands on your way to British Columbia's world renowned grizzly bear habitat, Bute Inlet and the mouth of the Orford River. Enjoy wildlife sightings on your voyage that include bald eagles, porpoises, seals, sea lions as well as Orca whales.

Upon arrival at the Orford River, the home of the Homalco First Nation band, you will travel by minibus to the many grizzly bear viewing platforms; strategically built along the Orford River for maximum grizzly bear sightings. These bear viewing platforms offer our guests the ultimate in grizzly bear viewing as well as spectacular opportunities to photograph these amazing beauties in their natural habitat. Watch the grizzly bears, adults and cubs, as they fish and feast on the spawning salmon heading upstream in the river in preparation for their winter hibernation.  The pristine glacier waters of the Orford River as well as the fall leaves changing colour provide a breathtaking backdrop for your grizzly bear adventure tour.

	Our Way West grizzly bear tours are a full day event (approximately 7 hours long) and include a picnic lunch and beverages. Vegetarian options are available, please request one upon booking.
	Our Way West water taxis are covered vessels carrying up to 12 passengers each. Our larger vessels are equipped with onboard washrooms.
